As part of its primary business, Blue Line operates the largest Call Centre Operation for ground transportation in this part of southern Ontario. The nature of ground transport has radically changed over the past decade with the inclusion of foreign ride-share operators, but Blue Line continues to promote the importance of Local operations as a key differentiating feature of its business. Blue Line is a completely local operator with, Office staff, Call Centre personnel and Ground Transport Professional Drivers all being residents of the greater Hamilton area. The Call Centre, operating out of the main office in Hamilton is regularly looking for exceptional Call Centre team members to add to its team. The Team works in a hybrid mode with work from both the office and from home. The ideal candidate for this role is someone looking for a customer facing call centre role. Responsibilities Include: - Responsible for answering and responding to incoming customer calls. - Accurately gather data in an efficient manner - Assist customers and resolve questions. - Perform other phone activities including validation of previous orders. - May be asked to handle other specific phone based projects - May be asked to handle other office administration tasks -Communicates directly with Drivers to answer questions and ensure strong levels of customer support Qualifications - Must be customer service oriented - Previous experience in ground transportation Dispatch - Must be computer literate and familiar with current technology trends - Able to work in an environment with established policies and procedures - Must have critical thinking skills and able to resolve customer questions - Must have professional telephone etiquette - Must have enthusiasm for customer service. - Must be available for different shifts as the call centre is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week and 365 days per year.
