Primary Purpose: The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the picking, packing and delivery of product, the receiving and packing of inbound inventory, and providing inside sales and support to key Canadian customers in the assigned region. Essential Job Functions: Warehouse & Service - Prepare orders for delivery, shipping, or collection. Ensure that customer orders are accurately fulfilled, and the product is properly packaged prior to shipping. Ensure that shipping documents are complete and included with the product and that the customer acknowledges and signs off for receipt of goods. - Manage logistics by tracing and expediting order status and shipments on behalf of the customer and Company sales team. - Obtain accurate shipping & handling quotes for processing of customer credit card orders. - Load and unload product into and from truck trailers, stack and organize product on skids using forklift truck or hand carts (and other equipment as assigned). - Receive and check inbound inventory for accuracy. - With a sense of urgency, pack properly received inventory into the correct location and bays. - Provide in-shop efficiency and Fit Testing services for customers. - Perform air filter customization services, ensuring a safe and clean environment by adhering to all safety procedures and cleanliness standards. - Conduct inventory/cycle counts and continuously monitor and report any low stock and over stock items in the warehouse. - Advise supervisor when inventory does not match packing slips or if there are any identified quality issues. - Diagnose, repair, and service products and equipment as required. Customer Service - Coordinate with Head Office to establish and set up new customer accounts, including data entry and processing of new customer credit applications. - Process customer orders and payments, including walk-in customers. - Provide customers with accurate information regarding shipping costs and delivery times where necessary. - Answer incoming phone calls from customers to process or trace their purchase orders using the Company’s ERP. General - Ensure that defects in racking and storage are immediately reported to his/her supervisor. - Assist with the routine inspection of the facility for health and safety. - Keep warehouse and front office areas clean and tidy, product properly located and identified, aisles clean and free of clutter. - Provide back-up coverage for other members of the local team. Supervisory Responsibility: Warehouse Team Education and Work Experience: High school diploma or GED. Must have a valid class 5 license or better. Clean driving Abstract required. At least one year of related work experience, preferably in a related industry. Ability to operate tow motors and/or forklift an asset. Knowledge of computers and ERP systems an asset. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Must be mechanically inclined and be able to manage a variety of activities simultaneously. - Good written and oral communication skills - Must have strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. - A proven willingness and ability to make sound business judgments. - Exhibits a high level of integrity, mutual respect, and employee teamwork at all times. - Displays a professional image. - Demonstrates a strong commitment to meeting or exceeding company expectations, goals and objectives. - Physical Demands and Working Conditions: - A significant portion of the workday involves standing, walking, siting, bending, kneeling, climbing and lifting. - The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. - Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination are needed for tasks like operating a vehicle and working with equipment. - Tasks like loading and unloading product may involve repetitive hand and arm movements. - The work is typically performed in a warehouse workplace with minimal exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, or other adverse conditions. PPE includes: safety goggles, gloves, respirator, and CSA approved work boots hearing protection. - The normal work week is up to 40 hours, but the hours will vary according to operational demands.
