Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring productive warehouse operations, including order picking, shipping, receiving, and heavy equipment operation. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various types of heavy machinery such as forklifts and cranes. Responsibilities Perform order picking accurately using warehouse management systems and order picker equipment Load and unload shipments safely using forklifts, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment Operate cranes and other heavy machinery to move large or bulky items within the warehouse Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring proper documentation and inventory control Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency Assist with construction or warehouse setup projects as needed Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues Follow safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse procedures Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or construction preferred Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Experience with order picking and load & unload tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and procedures Valid certification for forklift or crane operation is desirable but not mandatory Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual labor as required This position is vital for maintaining smooth warehouse operations while emphasizing safety, efficiency, and teamwork.
