OntarioMDhas an excitingopportunityfor a Practice Advisor . In this roleyou willserveas a field-based advisor and advocate for physicians and other clinicians in matterspertaining totheoptimaluse of their OntarioMD-certified Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and other eHealth solutions(such asOLIS, HRM,eNotifications, eConsult, dashboardsetc.). You willdevelopand provide consulting services throughout the product/service life cycle (i.e. pre, during and post-adoption) and serveas an advisor working directly with physicians and their practices toidentifygoals and develop plans for advancing their EMRand other digital health toolsand capabilities. As a home-based role, you will be workingcollaborativelywith OntarioMDproduct areas,and as part ofa multi-disciplinary team,under the direction of the Area Manager to: Develop targeted plans forthepromotion and adoption of digital health initiatives within the assigned territory. Meeting enrolment targets on digital health solutions. Assistingphysicianpractices undergoing transitions such as clinic moves, adding current physicians, EMR migrations,etc. Educatingphysicians and other clinicians on industry best practices for: re-engineering of business processes, selection of the best-fit IT solutions, migration from paper-based processes to digital health solutions to improve practice efficiencies. Providing recommendationson opportunities for improvement in EMR use and office workflow. Escalatingissues internally to Area Manager orinternalteamsas necessary. Maintainingan up-to-date practice profile and activity tracking in the CRM system (practice membership, IT system configuration, etc.). Maintainingrelationships with key local stakeholders, OHTs, local health organizations such as hospital, EMR and other IT vendors. Assistingin the development of communication and marketing materialsregardingnew e-Health and other initiatives. Requirements that are Important to us: Universitydegree in Information Management or Health Sciences or equivalent experience. 3+years'' experiencein a healthcare consulting/relationship management role. Understanding of IT offerings, particularly in EMRs and how IT is applied in clinical practices. Understanding of change management and training related to transformational change initiatives in clinical practices. Understanding of PHIPA and the rules governing Health Information Custodians. Valid Drivers License andaccessto a vehicle. Active listener with a demonstrated ability to gain the trust of clients and stakeholders. Effective communication skills,including highly competent presentation skills and the ability to understand and communicate complex data and technology issues. What we offer: Base salary range of $73,000 - $90,000 annually +performance bonus; final compensation offered will bedeterminedbased on experience, skill set, education, training, and internal equity.
