As our civil division continues to grow, weu2019re seeking a Senior Civil Construction Estimator to lead complex tenders while playing a key role in project planning and execution support. This position is suited for an experienced estimator who takes ownership, contributes beyond bid day, and collaborates closely with operations to help ensure successful project delivery. This is not a Project Manager role u2014 estimating remains the core focus u2014 but the scope extends into planning, coordination, and overall project readiness. What Youu2019ll Be Doing Lead end-to-end tender submissions for complex civil projects, including: Parks and recreation developments Pathways and trail systems Pedestrian bridges Municipal civil infrastructure Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents in detail Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bid submissions Coordinate pricing with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions Support project planning, scheduling, and pre-construction coordination Contribute to strong handoffs from estimating to operations teams Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and leadership Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators as the team grows What Weu2019re Looking For 7+ years of civil construction estimating experience Proven ability to lead larger, more complex bids independently Strong experience with public / municipal tendering environments Background in civil infrastructure, site development, or parks projects Proficiency with: Heavy Bid Bluebeam Microsoft Excel Solid understanding of project planning, cost control, and risk identification Strong communication, organization, and coordination skills Experience working cross-functionally with estimating and operations teams Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field is an asset Ideal Backgrounds Senior Civil Estimator Lead Estimator (Civil Infrastructure) Estimator with project coordination experience Assistant Project Manager with a strong estimating background Why Join CSL Group?
