WGEN Promotions Executive Volunteer Role (Hamilton)

Join WGEN as a Promotions Executive volunteer and amplify event outreach within the McMaster community. Leverage your creativity and organizational skills to promote important initiatives. In this role, you will report to the WGEN Director and engage for 4 to 6 hours weekly. Your responsibilities will include creating promotional plans and materials, working alongside the Coordinator and team to ensure effective outreach. A deep understanding of social justice topics such as sexism and racism is essential to promote authentically. Key Responsibilities: - Create and design promotional materials for WGEN events - Collaborate on strategic promotional planning - Engage with WGEN Coordinator for event effectiveness - Maintain confidentiality of participants and activities - Plan and implement creative promotional campaigns Requirements: - Insight into social justice issues and campaigns - Robust communication and public relations abilities - Team-oriented with the ability to support others - Previous leadership experience preferred - Commitment to upholding community values and confidentiality Make a difference at McMaster through innovative promotion with WGEN!
