Job Summary We are seeking a talented and personable Hairdresser/Barber to join our vibrant salon team. Responsibilities - Perform a variety of hair cutting, coloring, styling, and grooming services tailored to client preferences - Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles and treatments - Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools - Engage with clients in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit - Upsell retail hair care products and styling services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue - Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments - Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products through ongoing education and training Experience - Proven experience as a Hairdresser or Barber with a strong portfolio of work - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members - Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a salon environment - Ability to upsell products and services confidently while maintaining professionalism - Prior experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required - A friendly attitude with a dedication to providing outstanding customer service This role is perfect for creative professionals who enjoy working in a dynamic setting while helping clients look and feel their best.
