Become an integral part of the City of Hamilton as a Planning Support Specialist in the Permitting and Licensing division. Use your extensive experience in systems administration and application support to enrich municipal operations. Reporting to the Supervisor of Business Applications, this position focuses on managing the Computronix POSSE platform’s architecture and integrations. You will ensure system functionality remains robust while collaborating across departments and with project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee administration and configuration of the POSSE platform • Develop solutions based on business requirements • Work with vendors for system troubleshooting and enhancements • Ensure compliance with ITIL standards for incident management • Create and maintain technical documentation Requirements: • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related field • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software implementation • Proficient in SQL databases and data analytics platforms • Experience with ERP, GIS, CRM systems • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities Leverage your skills in software configuration and systems support to advance the City’s technology agenda.
