Exam Period: April 9 2027- April 22 2027 ***Please note: Class times and locations are subject to change according to timetable updates.** Course Description/Relevant Employment Duties An examination of Indigenous philosophies of peace and approaches to conflict resolution from pre-contact to the present, with particular emphasis on Haudenosaunee tradition and the Great Law of Peace. Required Qualifications: Experience with and knowledge of Indigenous communities and ways of knowing, with expertise in Indigenous governance. The candidate will preferably have a Master’s degree or equivalent and demonstrate knowledge of and sensitivity to the values of Indigenous people’s cultural traditions and spirituality. Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching at university level. - Supplemented Fees- 15.02(a) The employee may be eligible to receive supplemented fees in accordance with Schedule C of the Collective Agreement. The actual rate of pay when in excess of the base rate of pay is deemed to include any supplemented fees owing, to the extent of the excess amount. If the actual rate of pay is less than the sum of the base rate of pay and the supplemented fees owing, then the employee shall receive the difference.
