Exam Period: December 11 2026 to December 23 2026 ***Please note: Class times and locations are subject to change according to timetable updates.** Course Description/Relevant Employment Duties This course expands on the vocabulary and the oral skills for the Ojibwe language. In addition, the course reviews the written component of the language. Required Qualifications: Fluency in the Ojibwe language is essential. This course will study the Ojibwe language, in its spoken and written forms, in the context of Anishinaabe traditions, values, beliefs and customs. The candidate will preferably have a Bachelor's degree in Ojibwe Language or equivalent, and demonstrate knowledge of and sensitivity to the values of Indigenous people’s cultural traditions and spirituality. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience teaching at the university level. - Supplemented Fees- 15.02(a) The employee may be eligible to receive supplemented fees in accordance with Schedule C of the Collective Agreement. The actual rate of pay when in excess of the base rate of pay is deemed to include any supplemented fees owing, to the extent of the excess amount. If the actual rate of pay is less than the sum of the base rate of pay and the supplemented fees owing, then the employee shall receive the difference.
