Join our team as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in Hamilton, Ontario, working part time from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a supportive long-term care setting.
This RPN role at 125 Wentworth Street South is focused on collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to meet the diverse needs of our residents. Responsibilities include medication administration, timely communication of resident changes, and adherence to regulations. Youll play an integral role in ensuring quality of life for the residents while advocating for their participation in care decisions.
Key Responsibilities: • Stay registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario • Safely administer and record medications • Identify and report changes in resident health • Align with care plans and legal standards • Engage with families and support end-of-life care when needed
Requirements: • Hold current Heart Save Level of CPR • Experience with dementia patients preferred • Understanding of long-term care regulations is essential • Strong communication and organizational skills • Capacity to manage stress and prioritize effectively
