Join Lifemark Seniors Wellness in Dunville as a permanent full-time Physiotherapy Assistant. Collaborate with a physiotherapist to implement treatment and facilitate exercise classes for resident care.

In this role, you will support a range of therapeutic interventions tailored to individual residents' needs. Duties include performing exercise routines like balance and range of motion training, while ensuring a safe environment. You'll also manage equipment setup and engage in ongoing communication with the supervising physiotherapist about treatment efficacy and adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:• Assist with the execution of treatment plans • Conduct dynamic exercise classes for residents • Set up treatment equipment and maintain cleanliness • Communicate any concerns or changes in resident status • Document daily treatments in a proprietary system

Requirements:• PTA/OTA diploma or Kinesiology degree preferred • Experience in long-term care is beneficial • Standard First Aid&CPR Certification required• Must have a valid Vulnerable Sector check • Tuberculin clearance is necessary
