The Opportunity We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable professional with some operations support experience and a positive, solutions-focused mindset. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across teams and departments. This role supports Allturf Ltd. and its growing group of companies offering exposure to diverse business operations. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, collections, cash application, and customer account reconciliations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP Business One is essential, as this role relies heavily on both platforms for reporting, account analysis, and day-to-day transaction processing. Previous bookkeeping experience is a strong asset. Beyond core AR responsibilities, this role also provides administrative operations support — including maintaining accurate records, coordinating documentation, assisting with month-end close activities, and supporting cross-departmental workflows to keep operations running smoothly. We are looking for a proactive self-starter with sharp analytical and critical thinking skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities with confidence. Strong communication skills are a must, as this role involves regular interaction with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies, follow up on outstanding balances, and ensure a positive client experience throughout the collections process. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm Key Responsibilities: 1. Accounts Receivable & Collections · Manage accounts receivable activities including collections and overdue account follow-up · Respond to customer payment and invoice inquiries · Process cheque deposits and credit card payments · Generate and distribute customer invoices · Be able to generate AR reports and provide analysis and insight into any issues 2. Customer Service & Sales Support · Provide support to customers and sales representatives · Manage incoming calls and customer communications · Monitor and respond to customer emails and inquiries 3. Reporting & Program Administration · Prepare and submit manufacturer, vendor, rebate, and promotional reporting · Support monthly sales reporting and program submissions Qualifications Required - Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field preferred - Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, bookkeeping, administrative support, or a similar role - Experience with ERP systems required; previous experience with SAP Business One is considered a strong asset - Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including reporting, data analysis, formulas, and spreadsheet management. This will be tested in person. - Experience preparing reports and working with data to support business decisions and operational needs Skills Required - Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail, timelines and accuracy - Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying solutions. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset - Self-starter who can manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Resourceful, adaptable, and innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. - Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
