Warehouse Shipper/Receiver (Innisfil)

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of goods, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate must be able to lift 50lb bags repetitively, bag seed for wholesale orders, pack orders, load customers, and load and unload trucks. Must be able to work on your own and maintain a clean and safe work area.Duties

Load and unload shipments using forklifts and manual handling techniques Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and accurately Receive incoming inventory, inspect for damages, and verify against purchase orders Maintain organized storage areas to facilitate efficient order picking and inventory controlEnsure compliance with safety standards during all warehouse activities Assist with inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels Qualifications

Prior experience in shipping&receiving or warehouse operations preferred Experience operating forklifts preferred Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and verifying quantities Ability to lift heavy loads safely and stand for extended periods during shift hours Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate order processingGood communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively This role is vital for maintaining smooth warehouse operations through effective shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
