Cross Border truck drivers (Innisfil)

Job Summary We are seeking experienced Cross Border Truck Drivers to join our logistics team. This role involves safely transporting freight across international borders, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with transportation regulations. The ideal candidate will possess solid commercial driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Responsibilities - Safely operate commercial trucks for cross-border freight transportation between countries - Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed - Ensure all cargo is secured properly before transit to prevent damage or accidents - Complete all required documentation for border crossings, including customs paperwork and delivery logs - Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure optimal operation - Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and potential issues - Comply with all federal, state, and international transportation laws and safety regulations - Assist with automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues when necessary Requirements - Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record - Experience in freight transportation, preferably with cross-border routes - Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely and efficiently (certification preferred) - Knowledge of customs procedures and border crossing regulations - Strong understanding of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road - Physical ability to load/unload freight and perform vehicle inspections - Prior experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus - Excellent communication skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Benefits - Competitive salary: 60 cents for team drivers and 70cents for flatbed drivers. - Overtime/extra trip incentives - Accommodation (if applicable) - Extra benefits to Female drivers and Couple drivers.
