Job Description Locations:
Cambridge Bay, Churchill, Iqaluit, Igloolik, Ottawa, Rankin Inlet, Thompson, Winnipeg, and Yellowknife
The Production Manager– Aircraft Maintenance is accountable to the Maintenance Manager or delegate, and is responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance operations for two Citation 560, two King Air 200, and one PC-12 aircraft ensuring regulatory compliance, safety, and efficiency. Coordinate staff, parts and schedules to maximize aircraft availability. This role requires strong leadership to manage the aircraft, AME’s, aircraft grooming staff, and coordinate facility maintenance.
Rotational position: 14 Days On / 14 Days Off– Day shift. 12-hour shift.
Company provides travel from your home airport, fully equipped company housing provided while on rotation in Iqaluit.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning:
Schedule and prioritize scheduled/unscheduled aircraft maintenance and team members ensuring minimal aircraft downtime.
Maintenance Reporting:
Track and report maintenance progress / aircraft status
Compliance&Safety:
Ensure all work meets regulatory standards (TC) and company MPM / MCM policies.
Resource Management:
Coordinate with company stores team members to secure parts, tools, and materials.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records, including maintenance work orders/task cards, work packages and aircraft logbook entries.
Troubleshooting&Technical Support : Provide technical expertise and support to the maintenance team in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to manage and motivate team, with excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills while maintaining a professional outlook.
Qualifications and Requirements
Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M1/ M2 Required
5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, and 3+ years in a supervisory role.
Experience on Beechcraft King Air B200, Pilatus PC12, and Citation 560 aircraft type is an asset but not required
Valid Driver’s License required
Citation 560 experience an asset. Training and Type Course Provided
Have a strong knowledge of Transport Canada regulations
Able to obtain and maintain Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
Able to obtain Driving Airside License (D/A)
Valid Canadian Passport required and able to travel unrestricted
Current Criminal Record Check
