Structural Technologist / Engineer - Tekla Specialist (Kamloops)

Overview Innovex Engineering Corp. is seeking a Structural Technologist, Designer, or Engineer with strong Tekla modeling and detailing experience to join our engineering team. Based in Kamloops, BC, Innovex provides consulting engineering services to mining, industrial, energy, and heavy mechanical sectors across Canada and the US. Role - Structural steel design and detailing - Mining and process facilities - Equipment supports, platforms, and pipe racks - Fabrication-ready models and drawing packages - Coordination with mechanical and piping teams Requirements - Develop detailed 3D Tekla models - Prepare fabrication and erection drawings - Coordinate with engineers, fabricators, and project teams - Assist with retrofit integration and field coordination - Support projects from concept through fabrication Qualifications - Engineer or technologist designation - 5–10 years of structural experience - Strong Tekla proficiency including connection design - Industrial or mining project experience preferred - Strong understanding of Canadian steel fabrication practices and structural design codes including CAN/CSA S16, CAN/CSA A23.3, and CAN/CSA S304.1 - Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments What We Offer - Competitive compensation - Flexible work environment - Engaging industrial and mining projects - Highly capable engineering team - Direct involvement with clients and fabrication teams Pay: $85,000.00-$130,000.00 per year Benefits: - Casual dress - Flexible schedule - On-site parking - Profit sharing - Wellness program Ability to commute/relocate: - Kamloops, BC V1S 1W5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Experience: - Tekla: 5 years (required) Location: - Kamloops, BC V1S 1W5 (preferred) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ny3mj
