the Job Summary Afrofusion is looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our team. This position is responsible for keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly in a rapid-paced setting. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and restaurant standards Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing and kitchen areas Assist with garbage removal and kitchen cleaning Support kitchen staff when needed Follow sanitation and food safety standards Maintain cleanliness of work stations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations Adhere to all health department regulations and company policies Experience Able to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable and punctual Team player with a positive attitude Ability to stand for long periods Previous experience is an asset but not required Strong understanding of kitchen operations and flow Team player with a positive attitude Willingness to learn and grow with the brand Requirements Previous line cook experience preferred Food Safe certification is an asset Ability to stand for long hours Ability to lift up to 30 lbs Flexible availability (evenings and weekends required) What We Offer Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Growth opportunities within a growing brand Staff meals and employee discounts Supportive but high-standard work environment Flexible hours This role is perfect for someone who is hardworking, dependable, and eager to grow within a rapid-paced kitchen setting.
