Certified Welder, Central Okanagan and High Country (Revelstoke)

Experience as a welder with a Red Seal Certification (required).

Certified pressure welder experience is an asset.

Commitment to working safely.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and within a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)– preferably JD Edwards.

Fabricator endorsement, millwright experience and prior experience in a forest products environment is considered an asset.

In this role you will:

Commit to working safely and maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Apply knowledge, experience and problem‑solving skills to troubleshoot issues.

Complete the layout, fitting and fabrication of metal components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, platforms, handrails, machine guarding and piping.

Repair metal components and infrastructure using gas, arc‑air, MIG, TIG and electrode techniques as required.

Read blueprints and interpret OEM maintenance information to complete work to mill standards.
