Become a vital part of LNIB in Merritt as a full-time Housing Plumber. This position emphasizes plumbing skills in installation, maintenance, and repair across Band housing units.
With a Red Seal certification and experience in residential plumbing, you will perform critical actions to maintain safe and functional homes within the community. You’ll engage in inspections, collaborate with other maintenance professionals, and address urgent housing issues, embodying LNIB's commitment to cultural integrity and community well-being.
Key Responsibilities:• Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance • Maintain housing units for safety and functionality • Conduct inspections to pinpoint maintenance needs • Collaborate with Maintenance Workers for effective repairs • Support the coordination of contractors through Housing Administration
Requirements:• Red Seal Plumber certification required • 3–5 years of plumbing experience • Grade 12 education minimum • WHMIS certification and First Aid (or willingness to obtain) • Valid driver's license for site travel
