In this role, you will assist the Journeyperson Electrician in installing and maintaining low- and high-voltage equipment. Ideal candidates will work with circuit breakers, transformers, and SCADA systems, gaining valuable insights into electrical substation construction. This is an opportunity to develop technical skills while complying with safety regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:• Assist in substation construction activities daily • Work with high-voltage equipment including transformers and circuit breakers • Install network and power cabling, ensuring proper documentation • Perform both scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance • Develop and maintainmaintenance and test reports with guidance

Requirements:• Registered Electrical Apprentice in Construction or Industrial Electrician • Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and WorkSafeBC regulations • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with acceptable record • Ability to work comfortably at heights and in adverse conditions • Willingness to travel to remote project sites
