Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching new drivers the skills necessary to operate vehicles safely and confidently. The Driving Instructor plays a vital role in helping individuals achieve their driving goals while promoting road safety and responsible driving habits. Duties - Conduct driving lessons for students of varying skill levels in accordance with established curriculum and safety standards. - Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their driving abilities. - Prepare students for licensing exams by teaching traffic laws, vehicle operation, and defensive driving techniques. - Maintain accurate records of each student's lessons, progress, and evaluations. - Ensure all vehicles used for instruction are properly maintained, clean, and safe for operation. - Adhere to all state and local regulations regarding driver education and licensing procedures. - Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that builds student confidence and promotes responsible driving behavior. Skills - Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, with strong communication skills to effectively convey instructions. - Classroom experience or previous instructional roles are highly desirable. - Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels. - Ability to remain patient, adaptable, and professional in various learning situations. - Strong knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle operation, and safety protocols. - Ability to assess student needs accurately and tailor instruction accordingly.
