Senior Architectural Technologist (Kamloops)

Responsibilities - Producing and overseeing technical design and contract documents in compliance with owner requirements, in collaboration with project teams. - Working with team members to validate that designs and deliverables conform to technical guidelines, code requirements, regulations, quality assurance and control. - Providing technical design solutions for both new and renovation projects including interior and exterior assemblies. - Leading assembly of specifications for projects using the NMS format. - Coordinating and leading internal production teams. - Coordinating with project sub‑consultants. - Providing technical mentoring and project leadership to office staff. - Assisting with contract administration including site visits and working with construction contractors. Qualifications - Degree or diploma in architectural and building technology from an accredited technical college. - 10+ years’ working as a Building or Architectural Technologist for an architectural consulting firm. - Demonstrated substantial product knowledge and ability to detail architectural building systems. - Construction site experience. - Preference given to candidates with knowledge of BIM principles & workflows; REVIT software; Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Microsoft 365 environment; Bluebeam. Compensation: AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $80,800 – $107,000 MB & ON: $73,700 – $101,500 NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $73,000 – $96,900 Health and Safety is a core value of A49.
