About the Role We’re looking for a Panel Processing Lead (Evening Shift) to run evening operations in our panel department. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on execution - ensuring panels are cut, machined, and prepared accurately and efficiently, and ready for the next day’s production. You’ll lead the shift, keep machines running, troubleshoot and maintain steady output with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities - Plan and execute the evening production schedule. - Review drawings, cut lists, and work orders to ensure readiness - Keep CNC, saw, and edgebander running efficiently, working with the millwright as needed - Maintain steady throughput and adjust workflow to hit daily targets - Lead and support the team - assign work, set expectations, and maintain pace - Ensure all panels meet quality standards before moving downstream - Track output and maintain accurate work orders (Innergy) - Provide a clear end-of-shift production handoff - Keep materials organized and flag shortages or issues early - Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment What Success Looks Like - Panels completed on time and to spec, every shift with excellent QC standards upheld - High machine uptime and consistent production flow - Clean handoff to day shift with no delays - Minimal rework and strong quality control - A reliable, accountable, and engaged team What We’re Looking For - Experience in panel processing, CNC, or millwork manufacturing - Strong understanding of machining, materials, and production flow - Proven ability to lead on a shop floor - Organized, decisive, and self-directed - Comfortable working an independent evening shift Why Join Top 40 - Stable, team-focused environment - Explicit expectations and strong leadership - Opportunities to grow and develop - A workplace built on respect, collaboration, and accountability Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour Benefits: - Casual dress - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Vision care Ability to commute/relocate: - Kamloops, BC V2C 5S4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): - Do you have experience as a supervisor/team lead position ?
