As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operation centres, call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc. What's in it for you? - Hourly wage of $22.38 - We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy - Part-time position, Sunday from 16:00 until 00:00 ( midnight), Tuesday from 7:30 until 19:30 ( 12hrs long shift ) - Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld - Full time & part-time opportunities - Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities for Surveillance Security Guard - Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity - Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats - Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports - Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises - Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification - Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions - Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies Qualifications for Surveillance Security Guard - Be authorized to work in Canada - Hold a valid BC security license - A valid driver's license Class 5 and clean driving abstract required - First aid certification - an asset - Strong report writing skills - Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus - Strong proficiency with technology - Ability to stand and walk throughout shift This posting is for a future position within the organization.
