Become a key player as a Technical Writer at Highland Valley Copper, located in Logan Lake, BC. Develop essential documentation for mining operations to support equipment readiness. This in office role involves close collaboration with the Mine Life Extension Project, where you will produce intuitive documentation such as SOPs and training materials. Your contributions will ensure operational effectiveness by working alongside Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to create comprehensive documentation ahead of mechanical completion. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and develop operational procedures for modified facilities • Create user-friendly process documentation aligned with HVC standards • Draft and update isolation procedures for safety compliance • Collaborate with various teams to gather inputs for documentation • Engage with stakeholders through site validation and SME interviews Requirements: • 10+ years’ experience in heavy industry (mining preferred) • 2+ years in a mineral processing plant • Proven ability in technical documentation development • Solid written communication and detail orientation • Expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Visio Bring your skills to Highland Valley Copper and enhance their operational readiness through impactful documentation.
