Marina Yard and Maintenance (Kawartha Lakes)

We are searching for a an experienced Yard Coordinator. Responsibilities will include but not limited to assisting in moving boats, launching boats, helping customers hooking and unhooking boats, coordinating out of storage and service boats for technicians. The role includes working with all the staff to ensure the smooth running of the yard. Possession of a Boater's Card and the ability to drive a boat is an asset but not necessary. A driver's license and a clean driving record is mandatory. Must have experience with trailing boats and moving all powersport equipment.. Candidate must have experience driving a forklift and a tractor. Forklift certification would be an asset but training is available. Responsibilities will include the maintenance and organization of all storage yards. Must be able to work as a team member in a very fast paced atmosphere. The position requires multitasking and an openness to change as everyday is different in the marina. This job requires outdoor physical work in all weather conditions. Knowledge of boats, watercraft and powersports equipment is a true asset Weekend work is mandatory. 5 or 6 days per week.
