Apprentice Carpenter/Formwork Carpenter (Kelowna)

We are currently seeking Apprentice Carpenters/Formwork Carpenters to join our team in the Thompson-Okanagan region, BC. Applicants with high-rise construction experience including knowledge of PERI/DOKA formwork systems will be highly considered. Duties / Responsibilities: - Erect / install and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites - Build footings, walls, column forms, slab forms, and stair forms - Use and operate required hand and power tools - Read and interpret blueprints - Prepare forms based on sketches and verbal instructions - Review and follow safety policies and procedures - Work at heights and in all weather conditions - Perform physically demanding labour in a fast paced environment - Adhere to all company policies and procedures Education: Completion of high school or equivalent Location: Various job site locations in Kelowna and the surrounding Thompson-Okanagan region Schedule: Hours vary; 35 - 50+ hours per week Business Name: 1204648 BC Ltd. o/a Elite Formwork Business Address: 9935 Enterprise Way SE, Calgary, AB T3S0A1 Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour Benefits: - Dental care - Disability insurance - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Life insurance - RRSP match - Vision care Experience: - concrete formwork: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2oau5q
