Summary The 'Production Scheduling Coordinator' is a vital role at Norelco Cabinets Ltd, responsible for coordinating production schedules to ensure timely delivery of custom cabinetry projects. Located in Canada, this position supports our mission to deliver exceptional craftsmanship and personalized solutions to our clients. Position Summary Coordination Responsibilities - Coordinate and support daily scheduling operations within the Scheduling Department. - Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure accurate communication and workflow coordination. - Maintain regular communication with supervisors, service coordinators, production teams, installers, purchasing, and logistics personnel regarding schedules and project timelines. - Assist in maintaining departmental organization, priorities, and scheduling accuracy. - Provide timely updates regarding schedule changes, material delays, and project requirements to all relevant parties. - Support departmental goals and contribute to continuous process improvements. - Perform other related duties as assigned. Scheduling Responsibilities - Assist with the preparation, coordination, and maintenance of production and service schedules. - Support project scheduling requirements related to estimating, timelines, and production planning. - Monitor schedules to ensure projects are progressing in accordance with timelines and operational requirements. - Track scheduling information and maintain accurate records within internal systems. - Assist in collecting and maintaining scheduling and production data for reporting and process improvement purposes. - Coordinate with purchasing regarding material availability and communicate schedule impacts where required. - Assist with oversight and coordination of installer schedules and service scheduling requirements. - Ensure departmental tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. - Support the coordination and completion of quartz template scheduling and related follow-up. - Assist with implementing scheduling and customer service process improvements. - Perform other related duties as assigned. Logistics Responsibilities - Coordinate shipments and scheduling requirements with shipping companies and vendors. - Maintain positive working relationships with vendors and carriers. - Track shipments using internal and external systems and provide updates as required. - Follow up on deliveries and communicate any delays or concerns to appropriate departments. - Assist with invoice verification to ensure consistency with approved quotes and shipping costs. - Support scheduling and purchasing departments as required. - Contribute to a positive and professional work environment for all employees. - Perform other related duties as assigned. The duties and responsibilities of this role may evolve from time to time based on operational requirements and company needs.
