Independently manage end-to-end delivery of data management services for single or multi-service projects, ensuring quality deliverables on time and within budget, and customer satisfaction. Provide comprehensive data management expertise to the Clinical Data Management (CDM) team to deliver high-quality data management products. Lead the team in planning, execution, and close-out, financial management, communications, and milestone deliverables. May serve as Data Team Lead (DTL), Program Lead, Customer Site Manager, and/or SME in a CDM task. Comply with Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), regulatory guidelines, SOPs, policies, and CDM guidance documents.Essential Functions / Fonctions essentielles

Client Management / Gestion de la clientèle: Serve as primary point of contact for the customer on data management deliverables. Manage multiple large studies or programs (globally if needed). Provide leadership and senior support to DTLs on multiple large global studies/programs. Provide project management expertise with customer data managers, key decision makers, and internal team members to drive continuous process improvements, issue escalation, workload projections, and technical expertise.Lead direct negotiations with the customer (timelines, financials, processes, resources). Maintain strong customer relationships. Ensure open communications with the customer and IQVIA management to independently manage and meet contractual obligations. Service Management / Gestion des services:Meet regularly with Data Operations Coordinator (DOC) and/or Data Operations team to ensure milestones and quality. Provide training and development on data management to junior team members. Establish strong communications with Data Operations, functional leads, project managers, and all stakeholders.Independently manage DM service delivery with full DM processes and technical execution. Serve as the escalation point for unresolved data issues. Collaborate with client data managers, vendors, and internal team members to resolve issues. Ensure appropriate resources are assigned to meet project goals.Create and/or review and sign-off on all Data Management Plan (DMP) documents. Ensure service and quality meet specifications per the DMP and contract/SOW. Implement proactive quality management across multiple projects/programs/accounts. Lead service performance and address root causes with corrective actions.Continuously seek opportunities to improve service. Develop and implement plans for organizational change as needed across a customer account. Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of compliance issues. Serve as SME and provide leadership in a CDM task or technology. Provide guidance and expertise to junior DTL staff; may coordinate work of junior DTLs.Maintain internal databases and tracking systems. Review monthly financial reports and participate in project reviews as requested. Identify out-of-scope tasks and track change orders to completion.Participate in pricing discussions across customer accounts. Serve as Project Manager for single-service DM projects, including financial tracking, revenue recognition, and invoicing. Independently support the RFP process (review RFP documents, pricing, attend bid defense). Other / Autres: Independently drive process improvements and solutions for the CDM team/department.Lead a focus team or global/local best-practice team. Share lessons learned and present in CDM workshops. Manage development and implementation of new technology or tools. Present at professional conferences and/or publish articles in professional journals. Provide review and expert opinion in developing, revising, and maintaining SOPs and work instructions.Perform other duties as directed by the functional manager. Qualifications / Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in health, clinical, biological, or mathematical sciences, or related field (required). 7 years direct Data Management experience, including 5+ years as a CDM project lead. Experience delivering multiple global trials through full DM lifecycle (large trials with ≥1,000 patients).Demonstrated expert data management skills and advanced knowledge of DM processes; e.g., therapeutic area, SAE reconciliation, external data vendor reconciliation, local lab data management, or new technologies. Strong experience in complex client negotiations and bid defenses; knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy and/or physiology.Knowledge of operating procedures and work instructions and ability to apply them. Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and regulatory guidelines. Comprehensive understanding of clinical drug development process. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and customers.Clinical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy, and/or physiology knowledge. Actual pay varies based on factors including qualifications, location, and schedule. Incentives/bonuses and other compensation may be offered in addition to benefits.
