College Sports Attendant– Castlegar&Nelson

Provide essential sports services as a College Sports Attendant at our recreation facilities in Castlegar and Nelson. Engage in equipment management and support programs while ensuring a safe environment for all users.

In this on-call position, you will report to the Department Head of Athletics, Recreation, and Student Life. Your role includes setting up and cleaning sports equipment, booking gym facilities, and maintaining accurate records. Demonstrating safe equipment practices and providing first aid will be crucial components of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:• Set up and take down sports equipment for events • Clean sports equipment and ensure proper handling • Operate cash register and balance cash • Maintain records for facilities, lockers, and memberships • Deliver first aid treatment when required

Requirements:• Completion of High School education • At least 1 year of related experience • First Aid Level I required • Preferred qualifications in sports or fitness • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
