Stone Countertop Installer / Helper (Granite & Quartz) (Kelowna)

Job Summary Are you an experienced Stone Countertop Installer/ Helper looking to showcase your craftsmanship on high-end granite, quartz, and stone countertops? Do you have the skills to take on vertical stone applications such as fireplaces, feature walls, and full-height backsplashes? If so, we want you on our team. We are a leading countertop company in Kelowna, BC, specializing in granite countertops, quartz countertops, porcelain slabs, and stone fabrication. Our projects range from luxury kitchens to unique commercial installations. We are NOT interested in training at this time Responsibilities - Install granite, quartz, marble, porcelain, and engineered stone countertops in homes and businesses. - Execute vertical stone installations (fireplace surrounds, wall cladding, backsplashes) with accuracy and clean finishes. - Safely handle and transport heavy stone slabs using appropriate tools and lifting equipment. - Read and interpret templates, shop drawings, and blueprints. - Work closely with our Install Lead and Field Manager to ensure seamless installations. - Maintain tools, equipment, and job sites in a clean, safe, and organized manner. - Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges to keep projects on schedule. Skills - Minimum 1-3 years of stone countertop installation experience (granite, quartz, porcelain, marble). - Ability in both countertop and vertical applications. - Proficient with installation tools, adhesives, and finishing techniques. - Physically fit, with the ability to safely lift and maneuver heavy slabs. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. - Robust communication skills and professional client-facing manner. - Team-oriented but capable of working independently when required. - Be on time and at work everyday 7am start Hard worker willing to go the extra mile for our customers Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour Benefits: - Casual dress - Dental care - Extended health care - On-site parking - Paid time off Ability to commute/relocate: - Kelowna, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: - Countertop installing (Granite/Quartz): 1 year (required) Language: - Fluent in English (required) Licence/Certification: - DL (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ol0n6
