Bartender/server Pt May June & Ft In July And August Kelowna

Must be 19+ and hold valid Serving It Right Certification. We are a family-owned entertainment centre with a licensed lounge that seats up to 60 guests. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Bartender/Server who loves creating outstanding guest experiences and enjoys working in an environment that serves families, adults, and large groups. This role requires someone who can work independently, provide friendly and attentive service, and help ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional visit. Compensation BC minimum wage + tips Availability Must be available weekends Must be available FT during school holiday breaks (Summer break, Pro-D Days, etc.) Responsibilities Create a warm, fun, and welcoming atmosphere for guests of all ages Complete opening and closing duties in a timely manner Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Check ID and ensure legal drinking age compliance Interact with customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages Learn and confidently operate our POS system Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Maintain a strong guest-focused approach and ensure an excellent experience Follow all food and beverage regulations Use alcohol-awareness procedures to prevent over-service and handle concerns appropriately Notify a Manager when guest behavior requires attention Bus and reset tables as needed Assist other team members when required Work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, noisy workplace Uphold company sanitation standards Perform cleaning duties Show willingness to be trained in other areas of the business (Guest Service Associate) Skills & Qualifications Positive knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks (or willingness to learn) Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Ability to keep the bar clean, organized, and fully stocked Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs Able to stand or walk for the full shift and perform duties including bending, mopping, sweeping, and wiping Serving It Right (required) Food Safe (preferred) Experience Serving and bartending: not required (training provided) Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.85 per hour Benefits: Company events Discounted or free food On-site parking Store discount Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2oqqdf
