Landscaper/Labourer (Kelowna)

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscaper/Labourer to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of outdoor landscaping and construction tasks to maintain and improve residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, a strong work ethic, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment necessary for landscape maintenance and construction projects. Responsibilities - Assist with landscape installation, maintenance, and renovation projects - Operate equipment such as excavators, power tools, and hand tools safely and efficiently - Perform gardening tasks including planting, pruning, mowing, and weeding - Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes - Conduct general site cleanup and debris removal to maintain a tidy work environment - Support construction activities related to landscape features such as patios, walkways, or retaining walls - Perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal operation - Follow safety protocols at all times during outdoor work activities Experience - Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate - Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices and horticultural principles is a plus - Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining power tools and small machinery is advantageous - Experience with excavation equipment such as excavators is desirable but not mandatory - Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks Pay: $17.85-$29.39 per hour Benefits - Casual dress - Versatile schedule Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2otj11
