Job Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining a clean and secure kitchen environment. Duties - Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards - Assist with food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients - Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations - Serve dishes efficiently and courteously to guests, maintaining excellent customer service standards - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations - Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management - Follow all health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environment - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours Qualifications - Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant or food service environment - Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards - Strong skills in meal preparation, serving, and food presentation - Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced workplace - Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation - Prior experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred - Passion for culinary arts and continuous learning in food industry trends Tips are equally split among everyone This position requires a dedicated individual committed to delivering exceptional food service while adhering to safety standards.
