Donut Production Assistant (Kelowna)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Donut Production Assistant to join our team. This role involves assisting in the preparation, decoration, and packaging of delicious donuts in a rapid-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, food safety, and delivering excellent customer service. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in baking, decorating, and food handling within the vibrant food industry. Duties - Assist in preparing donut batter and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed - Decorate donuts with icing, sprinkles, and other toppings - Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently for baking and frying processes - Package finished products carefully to maintain quality and presentation standards - Maintain cleanliness of workstations and adhere to food safety regulations - Support the team in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed - Ensure all baked goods meet quality standards before packaging for sale or distribution - Provide friendly customer service when interacting with customers Requirements - Previous experience in food preparation, baking, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required - Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques - Skills in food presentation are a plus - Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting - Excellent teamwork and communication skills - Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with precision - Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high hygiene standards Join our team as a Donut Production Assistant and contribute to creating delightful treats enjoyed by our community!
