Security Guard (Kelowna)

We are seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Guards to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients and communities in Thompson, Cariboo, Shuswap, Okanagan, and Kootenay regions . This role requires strong observation skills, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to a variety of situations. What We Offer • Competitive wages (based on site rate) • Uniforms provided at no cost • Development and training through Paladin's Learning Management System • Opportunities for career growth in the field or corporate • May be eligible for extended health and dental benefits • Employee and Family Assistance Program • Exclusive discounts with company partners Responsibilities • Patrol assigned sites and monitor for safety and security risks • Control access points and verify identification • Monitor CCTV, alarms, and security systems • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and service calls • Enforce site rules and company policies • Provide excellent customer service and assistance • Write explicit and accurate incident and shift reports • Liaise with supervisors, clients, and emergency services Qualifications • Valid BC Security Licence • Valid Basic First Aid is an asset • BC Class 5 driver's license • Reliable transportation (site-dependent) • Strong communication and report-writing skills • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure • Ability to work various shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays) • Previous security or customer service experience • Experience with patrols, access control, and CCTV systems Additional Information / Benefits Paladin Security: Making the World a Safer and Friendlier Place because we CARE !
