About The Role - What We Are Looking For We are looking for an established, premium independent contract painter who operates with the highest level of professionalism and care. Responsibilities Fundamentally, the contract lead role is to take ownership of a job site, execute a flawless paint job according to our precise scope of work, and provide a white-glove experience for the client from arrival to final sign-off. Some of the things you’ll do are: - Manage your on-site team to complete residential interior/exterior, staining, or cabinet projects safely, on schedule, and within budget. - Own the client interaction on-site: Be polite, professional, and reassuring. We look for leaders who genuinely love taking care of the client and making them feel comfortable. - Conduct the final walkthrough: You will confidently guide the client through the finished project, address any minor touch-ups on the spot, and secure their total satisfaction before leaving. - Respect the workspace: Maintain an incredibly organized, clean, and safe job site. Homeowners should feel like their property is in the hands of true professionals. - Provide flawless prep & finish: From masking and caulking to complex staining or cabinet finishes, your execution must be sharp and durable. What’s Required - About YOU - An Independent Contractor: You operate as a true, independent professional. You have your own established processes and do not represent other companies while on our sites. - The Right Team & Expertise: You have a reliable crew or team capable of handling multi-person jobs efficiently. Your team has deep experience in interior/exterior painting, staining, and/or cabinet refinishing (or you are absolute masters in a specific niche of these). - Logistically Sound: You are organized, punctual, and have excellent, proactive communication skills. You don't leave people guessing. - Skilled-Grade Tools: Complete ownership of reliable commercial transportation (truck/van), ladders, high-end sprayers, and all standard painting tools. - Legalities & Protection: Active business registration, valid liability insurance, and up-to-date worker coverage.
