Head Purchaser (Kelowna)

Woodland Crafted Homes is looking for a Lead Purchaser to join our growing team. This Position will report to the Super Intendant and the Project Manager We are looking for a candidate with the following:  experience in a purchasing supply chain role preferred  experience in the construction industry preferred  Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) certification through the Supply Chain Management Association is highly desirable  Experience with ERP systems preferred , ie Buildertrend  Knowledge and experience with production, purchasing, planning, inventory control and scheduling  Able to collaborate effectively with internal and external vendors and trades and peers.  Strong time management and organizational skills  Self-motivated team player with high level of integrity  Ability to prioritize a busy and demanding workload  Follows best practices and maintains accurate documentation  Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Microsoft Word & Excel knowledge/proficiency an asset Woodland Crafted Homes is committed to these projects and will train the right candidate.
