Job Overview We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design and a love for flowers, with the ability to create stunning arrangements for various occasions. As a Floral Designer, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while showcasing your artistic skills. Duties - Design and create floral arrangements for events, weddings, and everyday occasions. - Consult with customers to understand their floral needs and preferences. - Provide recommendations on flower selection, arrangement styles, and care instructions. - Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area and display cases. - Process transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash efficiently. - Assist in inventory management by tracking flower supplies and placing orders as needed. - Engage with customers to promote sales and enhance their shopping experience. - Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of orders. Qualifications - Proven experience in floral design or related field is preferred. - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English; multilingual skills are a plus. - Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures. - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of landscape maintenance is beneficial but not required. - Sales experience is an asset, particularly in retail settings. - Attention to detail and creativity in floral arrangement design. - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
