Server/Cashier (Lake Country)

Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in providing exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, accurate order taking, and smooth cash handling. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced workplace. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this role. Responsibilities - Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service to enhance their dining experience - Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Brink POS - Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments efficiently and accurately - Upsell menu items to increase sales and promote specials or new offerings - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food handling and serving areas - Assist with food preparation and ensure food safety protocols are followed - Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables promptly - Provide guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction - Follow proper food safety procedures and sanitation guidelines at all times Requirements - Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred but not required - Familiarity with POS systems such as Brink POS is a plus - Strong customer service skills with a friendly, skilled demeanor - Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly - Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards in the food industry - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Join our team to deliver memorable dining experiences through exceptional service and teamwork!
