The Role As a Groundskeeper/Landscape Labourer, you will be a vital part of maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This is a

Seasonal, Hourly

position that requires a strong work ethic and a passion for sustainable horticulture.

Key Responsibilities

Landscape Maintenance:

Mow (push mowers), trim, and edge lawns; plant, water, and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees.

Organic Upkeep:

Remove weeds from mulched beds and naturalized areas, and assist in organic fertilization and pest/disease control programs.

Grounds Cleaning:

Clear debris, leaves, and litter from pathways and hard surfaces using blowers and hand tools to keep the environment inviting.

Equipment Operation:

Safely operate UTVs, mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, weed whippers, and various hand tools.

Irrigation Support:

Assist with minor repairs and the maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the team and the Site Manager to identify deficiencies and coordinate daily tasks.

What You Bring

Experience:

2+ years of landscaping, horticulture, or property maintenance experience is preferred.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform the physical requirements of the job.

Knowledge:

A solid understanding of landscaping techniques and plant identification (or a strong willingness to learn).

Technical Skills:

Ability to identify pests, diseases, and deficiencies in lawns and shrubs.

Mindset:

You are a self-starter, a team player, and highly organized with strong problem-solving skills.

Education/License:

A college program in horticulture and a valid Driver’s License are considered strong assets.
