Job Summary Co‑op or Intern Students
are invited to join the Financial Reporting&Insights team in May 2027 for either a 4‑ or 8‑month role across our Kelowna, Kamloops, Revelstoke, Salmon Arm, and Vernon offices. The position focuses on preparing tax returns, contributing to tax compliance projects, building client relationships, and maintaining communication with the team.
Responsibilities
Utilize technical knowledge from coursework to prepare tax returns for a variety of clients.
Contribute to tax compliance projects and other assignments in accordance with regulatory standards.
Build positive working relationships with clients and respond effectively to requests and suggestions.
Communicate progress updates and address issues with team members on an ongoing basis.

Experience&Education
Currently pursuing a degree or diploma focused in accounting.

Proven leadership skills and initiative, with strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
Benefits The expected compensation range is $41,000 to $56,000. BDO supports students pursuing their CPA designation with approved programs, mentorship, reimbursement of exam fees, enrollment in Canada’s leading CFE prep course, and flexible study‑leave options.
