As an Electric Distribution Designer at FortisBC, you'll leverage your four years of powerline distribution experience and a related technologist diploma to excel in project management and design. You'll define customer needs, create accurate layouts, and explain important FortisBC processes to clients while ensuring timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities:• Coordinate electrical distribution project scope and customer requirements • Assess foreign utility data and design layouts per FortisBC standards • Conduct field reviews and manage projects on safety and deadlines • Select appropriate service products and convey permit requirements• Facilitate effective communication with customers and authorities

Requirements:• Technologist Diploma or Red Seal in a related field • 4+ years experience in powerline distribution • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and distribution systems • Proficient in GIS and computer systems • Valid Canadian driver’s license
