Program Leader for Summer Recreation, Kelowna

Lead impactful recreation programs as a Program Leader with BGC Okanagan in Kelowna, BC. This summer position runs from June 30 to August 25, focusing on providing enriching experiences for children and families.

As a Program Leader, you will implement social and educational activities in a collaborative environment. Ensure program operations adhere to guidelines, evaluate effectiveness, and promote community participation. Your leadership will facilitate positive experiences for participants and contribute to meaningful community relationships.

Key Responsibilities:• Plan and execute recreational and educational activities • Work collaboratively to deliver program objectives • Ensure adherence to program guidelines and safety standards • Develop promotional materials to engage the community • Keep accurate records and submit reports as required

Requirements:• Relevant diploma or significant experience with children/youth • One year or more of recent related experience • Class 5 Driver’s License with willingness to obtain Class 4 • First Aid and Food Safe certifications needed • Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check
