Compassionate Cleaner and Caregiver Role, Kelowna

Bayshore HealthCare is searching for a compassionate Cleaner/Personal Caregiver committed to delivering exceptional support. In this role, you will ensure clients' comfort, safety, and well-being through dedicated care.

The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive homemaking services that include cleaning, cooking, and laundry management. You will accompany clients to community activities, administer personal care, and ensure their emotional and physical comfort. This position emphasizes a strong adherence to infection prevention practices and requires effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:• Provide extensive cleaning and homemaking services • Accompany clients to community activities and events • Administer personal care per care plan directives • Ensure physical and emotional comfort for clients • Document client conditions and report changes promptly

Requirements:• Completion of accredited caregiver training program • Strong principles of caregiving and customer service • Effective communication skills in English; French is a bonus • Physically capable of assisting clients with mobility • Clear criminal background with Vulnerable Sector Check
