Senior Architect, Kingston

Senior Architect Location: Seaway Corridor Region (remote or hybrid).

Responsibilities

Lead and manage teams in producing architectural design solutions and construction drawings.

Manage a group of architectural staff, leading project meetings and coordinating all other building disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.

Perform internal reviews and quality checks of the models and drawings to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Lead the team in researching materials, products and technologies required for the design and incorporate them into details, specifications and other documents.

Manage a team of consultants.

Maintain client communication.

Provide technical and administrative oversight to ensure that both internal and external client needs are met and that projects are delivered within cost, quality and schedule targets.

Manage the financial aspects of the project, including planning, scheduling, forecasting and staffing, working with accounting to achieve desired results.

Travel to communities and work sites in the Seaway Corridor.

Qualifications

Registered architect in Ontario (OAA).

10+ years of experience in a similar role.

Familiarity with provincial and national standards and codes.

Knowledge of BIM principles&workflows, Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft 365, and Bluebeam.

Experience with visualization software and the Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.

Experience or desire to work with Indigenous communities is an asset.

Ability to effectively communicate and deliver services in French is an asset.

Compensation&Benefits Salary ranges (per annum):

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK&YT: $93,700– $124,200

MB&ON: $85,500– $117,800

NB, NL, NS, PE&QC: $84,700– $112,400
