Administrator / Operations Manager Kingston Anchors is looking for a dedicated Administrator / Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our growing local business. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in their work, values customer relationships, and is motivated to run the business as if it were their own. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, independent, and proactive. You will oversee daily operations including shipping and receiving, packing orders, customer service, accounting support, and team coordination while ensuring the business continues to operate efficiently and professionally. Position Details - Full-Time Position - Hours: 37.5–44 hours per week - Starting Wage: $22.00/hour Key Responsibilities - Manage daily operations and ensure smooth workflow throughout the business - Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently - Coordinate shipping, receiving, and inventory organization - Handle customer relations with professionalism and care - Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and follow-ups - Support accounting functions including invoicing, tracking payments, and basic bookkeeping tasks - Maintain organized records and operational systems - Supervise and coordinate staff when required - Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and operations - Take initiative to solve problems independently and proactively - Represent the company with pride and professionalism Qualifications & Skills - Previous experience in administration, operations management, customer service, or a related role - Strong organizational and time management skills - Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced small business workplace - Experience with shipping, inventory, or logistics is considered an asset - Basic accounting or bookkeeping experience required - Strong communication and customer service skills - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Self-motivated, dependable, and solution-oriented - Leadership experience is considered an asset - Proficient with computers and common office software What We’re Looking For We are seeking someone who genuinely cares about the success of the business and takes ownership of their work.
