Bartender (Kingston)

Overview We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a solid understanding of food and beverage service, and experience with POS systems like Micros POS. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guests receive exceptional service. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, along with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences - Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling - Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience - Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar area, including proper food handling and food safety practices - Upsell menu items to increase sales opportunities while providing excellent guest service - Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash register at the end of shifts - Restock bar supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning properly - Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff Qualifications - Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred - Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable - Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally - Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently - Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy - Familiarity with food safety, sanitation standards, and food handling procedures - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus - Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for guest interactions Join our team as a Bartender to deliver exceptional service, craft quality drinks, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back!
