The HDR Kingston office is looking for design‑focused co‑op students who are self‑motivated learners and eager to gain hands‑on experience on a diverse portfolio of architectural projects across healthcare, post‑secondary education, science and technology, civic, and commercial sectors. Responsibilities Assist architects and other team members with all phases of design and construction, including schematic design, design development, and contract documents. Create and refine floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules. Produce 3‑D views and renderings to support presentations and design intent. Apply architectural procedures and techniques under guidance of senior staff. Perform contract administration tasks as delegated. Required Skills Revit 2020 and newer AutoCAD 2020 and newer Adobe Photoshop Knowledge of building technology, assembly methods, construction methodologies, and material applications. Solid multitasking ability while maintaining high performance. Preferred Skills Rhino Enscape (rendering plugin for Revit and Rhino) SketchUp Adobe InDesign Other visualization specialties. Required Qualifications Current enrolment in an undergraduate or graduate program. Attention to detail. Strong problem‑solving and communication skills. Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
